Desert Trail, Fire hearing set
DESERT HEIGHTS - The Twentynine Palms Water District Board of Directors will hold two public hearings to hear the comments and concerns of residents regarding the proposed adoption of an ordinance to raise the special tax for fire protection from $54 to $80 per unit.
The first public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Lear Avenue Fire Station at 3834 Lear Avenue.
The second public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at the Water District board room located at 72401 Hatch Road.
